been wanting to blog but never had the time to do so. after returning back to sch on starting on 25 days of hell, i felt really tired on tues. when it was only the 2/25 day. many many more to come! perhaps its because tues is the loooonggest day all thanks to maths. sch from 8 - 630. even worse then working.. 9-5 job.

there seems to be a big hoo haa over the IMF, WB thing. many view our country as hypocrites, trying to spruce up the place in anyway they can. planting new plants, getting taxi drivers to be extra polite etc. all this in the name of leaving a good impression to the delegates from many countries.

do you feel the same way too?

however, i believe in everyone's life, we have experienced something similiar, but on a rather small scale basis. remember how when u were young and went to visit other ppl that daddy mummy will tell u to be good? to greet the aunties and uncles? or when you had relatives coming over and mummy daddy will tell you to clean up your room, and doing the same for the rest of the house? sound familiar?

arent all these done so that relatives and friends will have a good impression of their kids? and praise them for being well mannered?

even on such small scale issues that we will go to such extent, what more for large issues?

i'm guilty of accusing my school for being a hypocrite too. i remember when there were some important guests that my school had to host, everyone was told to put on our best behaviour and ushers and all had to be properly attired etc etc. the extent that the school went made me feel like why must we be so fake? why cant we just be who we usually are? never once realising that all these acts have started since we were young.

all in the name of a good and lasting impression.
