mr sim! this is for you!
my other favourite teacher is mr sim!
there is this special aura around him that easily commands respect from his students, despite that fact that he can be quite comical at times. inpirational.
he is also quite a joker but can be pretty cold at times. in this way, lessons aren't so boring. i think if it were some other teacher making the same statement as him, students would not find it funny or that funny.
he makes sure that we understand concepts well by coming up with his thinking(and weird) questions and shows us that many things need not be memorised, which some other tutors dont bother. he also provides 'shortcuts' or so called tricks to help us, again, many other tutors dont do so.
he makes maths interesting.
we always say, all the 'birdy' (niao) questions must be he set one. the intellect required to come up with such birdy qns is well, high.
outside the classroom, he's this friendly teacher that doesnt mind hanging around this students. he's also quite a caring teacher. and he certainly likes to talk! haha.
his tolerance level also quite high one. quite seldom do we see being angry. despite the teasing from us(about his BIG ears) about lots of things, he still doesn't get angry. he's usually this chirpy cheery guy.
